Oceano are an American Deathcore band from Cook County, Illinois. Formed in 2006, the band signed to legendary UK Death Metal label, Earache Records, home of such legendary bands as NAPALM DEATH, MORBID ANGEL, CARCASS and many more. They released their debut album, Depths, on April 7, 2009. Their second album, Contagion, was released on November 9, 2010, with both these albums hitting the top 20 in the US heatseeker charts, with Contagion reaching number 3. The band went on to have a very successful career in the Underground with albums like 'Incisions' and 'Ascendants', with their final bow being 2024's 'Living Chaos', it's time for the band to move on with other projects, and say goodbye, and your last chance to see them live.

Possessed will be headlining 4 shows on their "40th Anniversary Seven Churches Tour" in October 2025, taking in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne (Halloween night) and Canberra.
 

Noted for their fast style of playing and Jeff Becerra's growled vocals, they are often called the first band in the Death Metal genre, who paved the way for the 1980s Bay Area Thrash Metal scene, along with METALLICA, EXODUS, TESTAMENT and DEATH ANGEL. The band is also notable for featuring future PRIMUS member Larry LaLonde, who was the guitarist for Possessed from 1984 to 1987, during their most famed era.

Known for their 2 groundbreaking albums, "Seven Churches" (1985), "Beyond The Gates" (1986), and their EP "The Eyes Of Horror" (1987), POSSESSED have always been known as one of the most important bands from the original Death/Thrash Metal scene. After a long hiatus, the band returned on Nuclear Blast with "Revelations Of Oblivion" (2019).  Critics praised the album and Becerra's return, with Blabbermouth calling the album "a monstrous reaffirmation of this absurdly influential band's original ethos that it almost defies belief". Also from famed critic Max Morin, "Possessed deserve to be spoken of in the same breath as BLACK SABBATH and METALLICA when it comes to influence. Simply put, nobody does this as well as them and probably no one ever will. 'Revelations of Oblivion' was exactly the reminder we all needed".

POSSESSED will absolutely destroy on these shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, with Melbourne taking place on Halloween, a night for the books indeed. More than 30 years into their storied career, Montreal death metal innovators Cryptopsy return with their ninth studio album, An Insatiable Violence, set for release on June 20, 2025 on Season of Mist.

Revered in Extreme Metal circles for such groundbreaking classics as 1994’s Blasphemy Made Flesh and the 1996 magnum opus None So Vile, Cryptopsy find yet another gear on An Insatiable Violence, which further solidifies the band’s place in the upper echelon of death metal. Coming out of the pandemic, the band dedicated themselves to staying on top of their game more than ever before, with the intention of consistently putting out a new record every two years. That started with 2023’s acclaimed As Gomorrah Burns, which WON them a CANADIAN GRAMMY, and continues 21 months later with An Insatiable Violence.

Before singing for EXODUS, Steve was the lead singer for the band LEGACY (which became TESTAMENT after his departure), recording and writing most of The Legacy demo. At the time of his departure from LEGACY, he introduced CHUCK BILLY to LEGACY members and joined EXODUS.

SOUZA is best known for his stints in EXODUS, for whom he sang between 1986 and 1994, and 2014 to just recently in 2025. Recording the classics "Pleasures Of The Flesh", "Fabulous Disaster", "Impact Is Imminent" - back in the heyday of the Bay Area Thrash Scene - to the more recent "Tempo Of The Damned", "Blood In Blood Out" and the latest "Persona Non Grata".
